Instagram & Hipstamatic

I got a lots of questions regarding Instagram pictures I showed in this thread or on my facebook. I did not use any software to treat pictures. Instagram is an app available so far only for Iphone. I’ve read somewhere that they are working on Android version at this moment but it is not know when it will be introduced. Pictures taken with Instagram can be browsed on Webstagram (you can find me @Marysia76).

If you are curious how Instagram works have a look here. Basically you just take a photo, then apply one of 17 available filters and optionally, you may add a blur. Then save your photo and it is ready to be send to your twitter, facebook etc.

I find it pity, that Instagram is not an online program that could be used for your photos.

Instagram is pretty addictive but few days ago I discovered another Iphone app (even more addictive) that creates vintage looking photos – Hipstamatic. This one is not using filters but you have possibility to choose one of few lenses, films or flashes. You can also use an option of random effect. Sometimes the results are really funny. On photojojo you can find all possible (336!) combinations of lenses, films and flashes. In contrary to Instagram, Hipstamatic is not free.

Do you have some photo apps you would recommend (also for Android)?

Jako że dostałam bardzo dużo pytań dotyczących moich instagramowych zdjęć postanowiłam poświęcić temu jeszcze jedną notkę.

Instagram to nie jest program do obróbki zdjęć, który można zainstalować na komputerze. W tej chwili jest dostępny tylko jako app na Iphone. Czytałam, że w tej chwili pracują nad wersją na Androida, ale kiedy ona wejdzie jeszcze nie wiadomo.

Zdjęcia Instagramowe można oglądać na Webstagram (moje zdjęcia są na @Marysia76).

Na youtube jest bardzo dużo filmików o tej aplikacji, na przykład ten. Generalnie trzeba zrobić zdjęcie, nałożyć jeden z 17 fitrów, potem ewentualnie dodać jedną z dwóch opcji rozmycia i voila.

Swoją drogą, szkoda, że to nie jest program online, na którym można by sobie obrabiać zdjęcia.

Instagram jest uzależniający, ale parę dni temu znalazłam chyba jeszcze lepszy program, choć wymagający więcej pracy fotografa. Nazywa się Hipstamatic. Ten program nie ma filtrów, ale kilka różnych obiektywów, rodzajów błony fotograficznej i lamp błyskowych. Można te elementy samemu dobierać lub dać opcję losowego dobierania. Czasem efekty są bardzo ciekawe. W przeciwieństwie do Instagramu, za tą aplikację trzeba zapłacić. Na photojojo możecie sobie zobaczyć wszystkie możliwe kombinacje (336!) obiektywów, filmów i lamp błyskowych.
