Together
with a group of crafty friends we decided to take a drawing challenge every
week. I have already shown you the results of the “feather” and “balloon”
challenges. This week the theme was a dandelion. Because last Sunday I bought a
masking gum I thought it would be great project to use it for the very first
time. I like the results a lot. I realize that I made a mistake making the
middle of the flower and the whole composition could be bit different but with
each new drawing I learn a lot!

you can see my first two abstract drawings I made as an exercise for the line
drawing class with Lisa Congdon. I thought that abstract drawing is nothing for
me but two next drawings are drying in the kitchen, right now as I type, …
Razem z grupą
rękodzielniczych znajomyh postanowiłyśmy co tydzień wybierać temat do rysunku. Pokazywałam
już moje zmagania z piórkiem i balonem. Teraz kolej na następny temat –
dmuchawiec. Temat wprost idealny do wykorzystania (w moim przypadku po raz
pierwszy) gumy maskującej do akwareli. Efekt bardzo mi się podoba. Wiem, że
popełniłam bląd przy środku dmuchawca i kompozycyjnie też nie jest najlepiej,
ale z każdym nowym rysunkiem uczę się bardzo wiele.
Poza tym chciałam
Wam pokazać moje dwa pierwsze abstrakcyjne rysunki. Powstały one w ramach
ćwiczeń do kursu Lisy Congdon. Myślałam, że to nie moja bajka, a tutaj dwa
kolejne abstrakcje właśnie schną w kuchni..
